The Story:
The photography cannot adequately illustrate just how breathtaking this scene was, as it unfolded from complete darkness. The colors here were remarkable, and the scene isn't as commonly photographed as is the Grand Canyon. I plan to go back soon - it has been too long. This was taken November 2, 2008 at 8:05 a.m.
