The Lonely Train of Winter
The Story:
Silverton Durango photographers' Winter Train Shoot, February 17, 2013. I remember standing out on the mostly frozen river hoping... well, you know. I was thinking that with all my heavy photo equipment I could be too heavy for the thin ice. The actual train had more cars, but I felt keeping it as a smaller train fit the lonely mood better so I digitally removed the additional cars and caboose. Because of the soft snow, I like this best on canvas but some like it on infused aluminum so I'm including both options below.
