After the Storm
The Story:
This wonderful building has been a church, a school, and a barn. It was built in 1886 as a Presbyterian Church, and it continued as such until 1934 when it was converted to school usage. It is in tiny Talpa, Colorado, on Highway 69, west of Walsenburg and just south of Westcliffe. This photograph was taken July 2, 2009 while I was driving a friend's Porsche Carrera back from the annual Porsche convention in Keystone, Colorado.
