Balloon Fiesta Morning II
The Story:
Here's a secret. I have told people this was taken from my porch in Corrales, but at some point I remembered it was actually from the end of Sagebrush Drive in Corrales. Sagebrush deadends to the far west, and you can walk from there up to a perfect mesa for viewing the balloon fiesta. If the sky is hazy, the light leaves streaks like the kind in this photograph. It's wonderfully peaceful up there, and you can even see Balloon Park, from where they lift off.
