Balloon Fiesta Museum
The Story:
My most memorable and moving Balloon Fiesta experiences all involve getting to the park very very early - like before 5 a.m. To be walking around in the darkness as some of the balloonists test their burners, lighting up the sky... that's just one of the inspiring benefits. Another is clean "porta potties"! Having donuts and coffee in the darkness while hearing the weather reports come over the loudspeakers. All are things that make getting up at 4:15 well worth it. But most of all, MOST of all, the unobstructed view of the Balloon Museum. This is what it looks like in the darkness.
Due to the details in the darkness, this piece requires infused aluminum as a medium.
