From a recent trip to Monument Valley, this was taken March 3, 2017 at 6:01 p.m. It required a little bit of trekking with the camera equipment and waiting for the right light, but as always, I had the place all to myself. The actual totem pole is the one on the far right, accompanied by a group of companions to the left. I've given it the name "Totem Pole Park" but that's not official by any means. I've tried this scene with the morning light but it just doesn't work - at least not with late winter/early spring sun. I like this best on infused aluminum but it also works well as a canvas wrap.
