Not Entirely Out of Reach
The Story:
This image was featured in the 2015 "One by Fifteen" show at Matrix Fine Art in Albuquerque. It's part of a work in progress - a series called "Is There a Heaven for Balloons", in which the world is seen from the perspective of the balloons instead of from "us". When I mentioned the concept to Julianne Kost, one of the most recognized national experts on Photoshop (and the Adobe Photoshop Evangelist) she thought the concept was brilliant. When I mentioned it to Tim Anderson, the curator for the One by Fifteen show, he said "You're kidding, right"? It turned out to be one of two images that sold at the show, so someone out there agrees with Julianne!
