Silverton Durango Winter
The Story:
It's hard to believe, but this photo was taken just a few hours before "Comin Round the Mountain". It was a lower altitude north of Durango, at 12:43 the afternoon of February 17, 2013. Later, in looking at it, I wondered if the young engineer were not cold as he hung out the cab of the narrow gauge steam engine. Then again, I am sure there was plenty of heat in there.
